6mm Correx® signs are lightweight, tough, fluted polypropylene boards for short to medium-term indoor/outdoor advertising. Weather resistant, it can be easily set up with nails, screws, glue, or drill holes. The board is popular for temporary needs such as event directions, estate agent boards, and site safety signs. Its twin-wall fluted structure is impact resistant yet easy to handle, cut, drill, and install with cable ties, screws, or frames. Colourful and fully customisable 6mm Correx® is a practical choice where strength, durability, and value for money are required.
The 6mm option is an alternative to the standard 4mm Correx® sign board and offers better overall strength and additional protection from wind and other weather conditions when used for large-format signage. Finished using HD UV flatbed print technology, this board is a perfect medium for constructing construction hoardings, as well as a budget-friendly option for large-scale events and outdoor advertisements.

Most people are familiar with the standard 4mm board for estate agent signs. But why buy 6mm Correx® sheets?
Superior Rigidity & Flatness: Thinner fluted boards are prone to bow or warp when printed in large sheets (A0 or 8ft x 4ft). The 6mm Correx® board has thicker internal flutes and tougher outer skins.

It’s much stronger than standard boards. These thicker internal flutes prevent “buckling” or folding of the thinner sheets in high winds. For very large exposed signs (e.g. 8ft x 4ft), we still recommend securing the board every 50-60cm to a fence or backboard.
It is stronger than most but still quite light. A standard 6mm Correx® sheet weighs between 1500gsm and 1800gsm per square metre. It translates to a large 8ft x 4ft (2440mm x 1220mm) panel, which would be safe for a single person to lift and install on a fence or post at about 4.5kg – 5.5kg.
